The workshop featured insightful presentations on the current state of tourism at both the provincial and regional levels. Honey Carmona, Planning Officer of the Cagayan Tourism Office, and Joylyn Cauilan, Supervising Tourism Officer of DOT-Region 2, provided comprehensive overviews of tourism dynamics and opportunities in the area.
Additionally, Tourism Operations Officer Kristine Wandagan discussed the accreditation process, aimed at encouraging private tourism enterprise owners and managers to subject their enterprises for accreditation. This initiative ensures adherence to quality standards in their products and services, fostering greater trust and satisfaction among tourists.
Senior Tourism Officer Romeo Caranguian delivered lectures on tourism product development, emphasizing strategies and best practices for creating a cohesive and marketable tourism circuit.
